Hace unos 500 años, en Europa, se produjo un movimiento socio-cultural que dio fin a la virtud sumisa del medioevo.
Rebelándose contra el esclavismo cristiano y su sentido lastimero y conformista de hombre, el Renacimiento opuso la búsqueda de un ideal de ser humano completo, libre, creativo, culto, seguro, equilibrado y orgulloso . Un ser humano en ejercicio total de sus facultades cognitivas y sensibles, alumbrando personas de una talla tal que, por su creatividad, productividad, conocimiento y diversidad, nos siguen eclipsando.
Si en el siglo XX en cambio, el hombre se define por el trabajo que cumple en horarios de engranaje, el nuevo credo es el mercado, dios tiene forma de moneda o de pantalla, la libertad es sólo una palabra que vende calzado deportivo y la especialización aumenta en la misma medida en que decrece nuestra lucidez para discernir y ser individuos,
estudiamos una única carrera
vemos mucha televisión
y vivimos como si la inmortalidad
consistiera en conseguir un trabajo
mejor remunerado
(algún prestigio)
o juntar y ahorrar
la mayor cantidad posible
de bienes intangibles
y objetos materiales
cabría preguntarse si no estamos en el apogeo
de un segundo medioevo.
Renaissance Issue,
es sólo parte de la apuesta
a construir, o reconstruir
-recuperar-, la posibilidad
de búsquedas y libertades,
en cualquier territorio,
de gustos y pasiones,
los irremediables deseos
de actuar a piaccere,
y disfrutarlo,
sin cuestionar la capacidad
o el permiso para hacerlo
sino mediante el intento
vigoroso, dulcísimo
(de vértigo).

500 years ago, in Europe, a social-cultural movement gave an end to the submissive virtue of the medioevo.
Rebeling against the christian slavery and its conformist and plaintive sense of the man, the Renaissance confronts the search for an ideal of a complet, free, creative, educated, confident, balanced and proud human being. A human being in complete exercise of his cognitive and sensitive faculties, illuminating people such a size that, for their creativity, production, knowledge and diversity, are still outshinning us.
If in the XX century instead, the man defines himself for the work that performs in machinery times, the new creed is the market, God has the shape of a coin or a screen, liberty is just a word that sells trainers and the specialization grows at the same rate in which our clarity to distinguish and be individual diminish,
we study only one career,
watch too much television
and live like if inmortality
was the way to get a better-paid job
(some prestige)
or keep and save
the most quantity
of intangible goods
and inmaterial objects.
We should we question ourselves if we are not in the beginning
of a second medievo.
Renaissance Issue,
is just a part of the bet
to build, or rebuild
-recover-, the possibility
of searchs and freedoms,
on any territory,
of likes and passions,
the undeniable desires
of acting a piaccere,
and enjoy
without questioning the capacity
or the permission to do it.
