Christian Marclay is an art DJ renowned for his collages of music, sculpture, film and image. His best-known works include Recycled Records, 1980-1986, collages of broken and re-assembled vinyl records; Guitar Drag, 2000, a video of an amplified Fender guitar towed behind a truck and Video Quartet, 2002, a 5-screen montage of musical moments from great and/or obscure movies. Marclay, who is now based in Britain, recently had a solo show at White Cube.Talking Art: Christian Marclay interviewed by Gilda Williams
