Y SIN EMBARGO magazine

En los suburbios del laberinto de ruido,
no muy lejos de los circos donde se agolpan
los muertos que aún respiran,
las hormigas taponan las grietas de las puertas
y las arañas reparan las redes que dañaron los susurros.

A escasa distancia, un topo que ha contemplado
el exterior de la muralla,
entra de nuevo en la madriguera y se adentra por la galería
sin que el olor de las raíces consiga distraerlo.
Ebrio de luz, con el afuera dentro de sí mismo
y su propio sí mismo reflejado en el espejo de la frente,
no sabe todavía que la crónica de su hazaña
será muy pronto un aullido sordo, un estímulo
para la bien pagada inventiva
de los guionistas de la interferencia.

Mañana, o unos días más tarde,
los minotauros de los monitores
maquillarán los puños de la verdad
con eufemismos ingeniosos.
Tal vez también
con imágenes de manos tendidas e indefensas.

Bestiary

In the suburbs of the labyrinth of noise,
not far away from the circuses where
the dead still breathing are piled up,
ants plug cracks in the doors
and spiders mend the webs damaged by whispers.

A short distance away, a mole that has contemplated
the outside of the wall,
crawls again into its burrow and deep in the gallery,
the smell unable to distract him.
