¿Qué se dijo Espinal tras leer las premisas/preguntas que Prats le acababa de mandar por correo electrónico, y más concretamente después de haber releído la que interrogaba acerca de qué clase de rincón podía reclamar la ironía ante una competencia discursiva abrumadoramente (a)plana(da) // (a)plana(dora)?

Que el tono de la respuesta que semejante premisa/pregunta demandaba bien podía ser el mismo que Joyce eligió para el penúltimo capítulo de Ulysses, y también que la ironía, más que reclamar, debía rescatar todo discurso aplanado/aplanador que se le pusiera a tiro, y que debía hacerlo sin finezza, como si estuviera estrujando una hoja de papel con las manos, y sin otro propósito que no fuera lograr que el sujeto que estaba siendo objeto del estrujamiento, corrompiera la planitud de su mensaje y abrazara la plenitud a través de las recién adquiridas anfractuosidades, escarpas, declives, lomas, valles o montañas; accidentes geográficos que facilitarían que el antiguo discurso y sus gestos (ahora convertidos en laberintos de infinitos puntos de vista, en metrópolis de ideas sin dueño, en torres de babel de argumentos en constante de/reconstrucción) pudieran echar a andar sin temor a nuevas y más beneficiosas ironías.

Question and answer for a new catechism
What did Espinal tell himself after reading the premises/questions that Prats had just e-mailed him, and more accurately after having re-read the one asking about what kind of corner could irony claim in front of an overwhelmingly flat(tened)//flat(tenning) discoursive competence?

That the tone of the answer that such a premise/question requested could well be the same as Joyce chose for the penultimate chapter of Ulysses, and also that the irony, more than claiming, should rescue all flattened/flattener discourse within range, and that it should do that without finezza, as if crushing a paper sheet with its hands, and without any other purpose but getting the subject that was the object to the crushing to corrupt the flatness of its message and hold on to the fullness through the recently acquired anfractuosities, escarpments, declines, hills, valleys or mountains; geographical accidents that would allow the old discourse and its gestures (now turned into labyrinths of infinite points of view, into metropolis of ideas without owner, in towers of babel of arguments in constant de/reconstruction) to start walking without fearing new and more beneficial ironies.
