Muchos estamos al corriente de que aquellos que mandan llevan años trabajando en este alejamiento de la vida que hoy nos custodia. El control de las masas parece estar bien atado, rigurosamente estudiado y, por primera vez se ha logrado de forma natural, sin un claro opresor al que señalar. En este Occidente del bienestar, casi todos somos cómplices. Sucumbimos ante la misma amenaza de otros momentos históricos. El poder siempre ha conspirado, siempre ha distraído, siempre ha dividido, y no confío en que cambien.

Parece imposible agitar las conciencias, dado que la gente percibe cómo se esconde la misma soledad y descontento en los demás, el mismo conformismo. Sabemos que decorar una triste existencia es alejarse de lo existencial. Aún conservamos una gran capacidad de acción y tenemos la información para llevar a cabo un nuevo modelo. Un nuevo modelo más pausado, con una recuperación de las capacidades personales y una relación más íntima e inteligente con el planeta. Librarse de los sofisticadísimos disfraces que nos hemos confeccionado con la ayuda del sistema de poder-control requiere esfuerzo y amor.

La esfera del arte no se salva. “Barnizado” es el granito de arena que aporta a la confusión, al alejamiento y, en ocasiones, a lo efímero de sus propias finalidades.

A lo largo de la historia el ser humano intentó acercarse a la sensibilidad y espiritualidad que parecía poseer en diferentes artes o estados de conciencia. Lográndolo en muchas ocasiones. Pero esto es usado como coloquio, no como ejemplo o guía para el propio camino. Todo esto entristece en cierta manera, y surge la necesidad de cuestionar en profundidad, de aprender o reaprender. Prueba de ello es que más que nunca hay gente que lo está haciendo. Se encuentran ejemplos que nos unen e informaciones y experiencias que llevan a guardar un espacio al cambio, ese que sembraron de alguna forma nuestros maestros, algunos casi anónimos.

Portraits of the West

Many of us are aware that those in charge have been working for years on this withdrawal fom life that watches over us today. Control of the masses seems to be well tied up, rigorously studied and, for the first time, has been achieved naturally, without a clear oppressor to point out. In this welfare West, nearly all of us are accomplices. We succumb under the same threat of other historical moments. Power has always conspired, has always distracted, has always divided, and I don’t count on them to change.

It seems impossible to agitate consciences, since people perceive how the same loneliness and discontent, the same conformism hides in the others. We know that decorating a sad existence is walking away from the existential. We still keep a great capacity of action and we have the information to develop a new model. A slower new model, with a recovery of personal abilities and a closer and smarter relationship with the planet. Getting free from the highly sophisticated disguises we have confectioned for ourselves with the help of the power-control system requires effort and love.

The sphere of arts is not excluded. “Vernished” is the two cents it contributes to the confusion, to the detachment and, sometimes, to the ephemeral of its own goals. Through History, the human being has tried to move closer to the sensibility and spirituality he seemed to possess in different arts or states of consciousness. Reaching them on many occasions. But this is used as a colloquy, not as an example or a guide for his own way. All this is in a way saddening, and the need emerges to question in depth, to learn or re-learn. Proof of this is that there are people doing it more than ever. There are examples that unite us and information and experiences that lead to keep a space open for change, the one somehow sewn by our masters, some of them almost anonymous.
